The Perennial Plant Association (PPA) is an independent group of perennial enthusiasts working together to promote best practices in the horticulture industry. The PPA has been an active association since 1984, and is headquartered in Hilliard, Ohio. The organization has over 1,600 members internationally, and its membership is composed a combination of growers, retailers, landscape designers and contractors, educators, and others that are professionally involved in the perennial industry. The PPA takes great pride in promoting education and research for perennial plants, design, and maintenance techniques. Members are presented with numerous opportunities to learn, connect with other professionals, and expand their horizons. In addition, members receive networking opportunities with perennial professionals around the nation. Each year the PPA hosts a National Perennial Plant Symposium devoted entirely to perennials. At this event, attendees learn about and observe perennials, gardens, and production facilities all across the USA and Canada and see what’s new for the coming years. The passion and skill shared by members of the PPA is unsurpassed. Hortica supports this organization and the educational opportunities and events that they offer to the industry.
