This year’s event will take place July 15–18 in Columbus, Ohio, at the Columbus Convention Center. Cultivate is billed as a trade show, but it’s so much more. Attendees also consider this to be an educational series and a networking venue that provides great information to help their businesses—all in a setting that promotes a good time.
Cultivate condenses knowledge, resources, ideas, new products, new varieties, innovation, trends, and the most dynamic mix of professionals into one place. If you only attend one industry-related event this year, this is a great one to pick.
All types of horticultural professionals attend Cultivate—growers, gardeners, marketers, sales reps, educators, students, installers, landscapers, researchers, and more from dozens of countries and all 50 states. Everyone can benefit at this event, from seasoned staff to part-time seasonal help.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Jon Gordon, a best-selling author whose business principles have been put to the test by everyone, from professional sports teams and Fortune 500 companies to government agencies and non-profits. Gordon helps professionals approach life and work with a positive, forward thinking attitude that leads to true accomplishment—at work and at home.
Whether you’re a retailer, greenhouse operator, nursery professional, landscaper, interior plantscaper, or an emerging professional, there are plenty of opportunities to learn through development sessions, workshops, speakers, and networking with your fellow professionals.
Cultivate is produced by AmericanHort. AmericanHort supports businesses in their continuous growth and success with knowledge resources, staff development, in-person meetings, and government advocacy.
More than 700 exhibitors will fill the Columbus Convention Center, with eight acres of booths and stage displays to show off new products and technologies. The show’s trade show hours are as follows:
- Sunday: 9:30–5 p.m.
- Monday: 9–5 p.m.
- Tuesday: 9–2 p.m.
